Raymond G. Rhames

Reverend John Epps will conduct Mr. Rhames graveside funeral at Cool Branch Baptist Church 2:00 p.m. Friday June 12th.

Raymond Greshan Rhames, age 78, was born in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late A. Lonnie and Essie Grice Rhames. He was preceded in death by 9 siblings.

Ray was a member of Cool Branch Baptist Church in Blair. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Ray loved vegetable gardening and looked forward to planting his garden in the spring and giving away many of the vegetables he had grown.

From trying to keep up with Peggy on early morning walks; to shooting the breeze with Red, Mr. Bill and Mr. Clack on Sunday mornings; to having dinner with Allen and Beth; to spending time with Ms. Odell and talking about old times, Ray will be greatly missed by the people of the Dark Corner community.
