Roberto "Robbie" Soledad Gonzales

Roberto Soledad “Robbie” Gonzales, age 58, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly with his wife by his side on May 31, 2021. He was the son of the late Frank Gonzales and the late Margaret Hopper Gonzales Hall. He is survived by his wife Tammie Mobley Gonzales; one son, Francisco Roberto “Robbie” Soledad Gonzales (Cynthia) of Chester; one brother, Ricky Gonzales (Sheila) of Rock Hill; one sister, Franquitta “Sissy” Blanchett (Duncan); grand-children, Torrie, Javy and Marteen Gonzales of Chester; step-father, Larry "Moe" Hall of Chester.

Robbie loved his family and was a wonderful husband (together for 45 years with Tammie), husband, father, grand-father and brother. He was a huge fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football and also loved hunting and fishing.

A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Robbie will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 7th in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home, Reverend Keith Hinson will officiate. The family is meeting at the home, 679 Lancaster Highway in Chester.
