Virginia Azilee Cabaniss Binns, age 84, passed away Monday. She was the widow of Frank D. Binns and was born in Lockhart, SC, to the late James Ira Cabanniss. and Bonnie Roberts Cabaniss. Mrs. Binns loved her family and enjoyed baking for them. She was of the Baptist faith and had retired from Chester Sportswear.
Mrs. Binns is survived one brother, Bobby Cabaniss, and his wife Peggy of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Binns was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Darlene Binns; one brother, James Ira Cabaniss, Jr., one sister, Shirley C. Alexander.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in Mrs. Binns’ memory to the Wounded Warriors Project by visiting woundedwarriorproject.org. The family would like to offer a heartfelt Thank You to caregiver, Vickie Clark, and Kindred Hospice.
The graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27th., by Rev. Dr. Jim Binns, in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service.
